1.Stage 1 ->Prelimiary Exam
Main Objective -The Preliminary Examination (Prelims) is conducted to select the best candidates for the Mains Examination.
How Candidates Are Selected for Mains?
- Cut-off Marks:Only candidates who score above the minimum qualifying marks (cut-off) in Prelims are eligible for Mains.
- Merit-Based Selection:The top-ranked candidates (usually 10-15 times the number of vacancies) are shortlisted.
